Specialty Steel Treating’s East Granby, Connecticut facility is a certified FAA Repair Station providing heat and brazing to overhaul and repair facilities throughout the New England area. In addition to be certified by the FAA, Specialty Steel Treating is approved to process parts for Honeywell, Boeing, Pratt & Whitney Canada, General Electric Aircraft Engine, and Sikorsky. Specialty Steel Treating specializes in high volume, large capacity heat treat. SST has the capability to provide vacuum heat treat and brazing up to 84” in diameter and oil quenching capabilities of 36” x 36” x 72”.
